Des Moines has a fun packed weekend ahead.
FREQUENCY kicks things off Friday night with the latest installment of their monthly event at the Vaudeville Mews. This time around featuring Nucci Mane, Jade Reed, Uungh, and Chris Coffey. All for $5 ($3 with 3 cans of food donation).
Then Saturday comes out swinging with a double header. First up is our next alien oddyssey, ROCKET SUMMER goes from noon until 8pm at the Ding Darling shelter house in Birdland Park. Daytime vibes in the middle of winter with sets by Justin Time & Kinky Kyro, James Garcia & Uungh, Mindblur & HOODtek, nnothing & Nucci Mane, Kabuki & R-Type, and WaKan TanKa & Ether Trogg. Also, there will be FREE sample dishes from Saap Bowl (a soon to open restaurant) served from noon until they run out (get there early). FREE event.
And then the evening keeps going right down the street with the latest edition of Dark Dance at the Fremont. This time around it features nnothing, Mindblur, and DJ Disc Jockey. As always it's a free event.
